City of South Bend set to host Black History Month awards ceremony and reception

City of South Bend SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend is hosting the eleventh annual Black History Month Awards Ceremony and Reception on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Century Center.
The city releases a series of billboards in the community to honor African American leaders who’ve made important contributions to South Bend’s rich history and culture as a part of Black History Month.
More information on the recognized leaders will be shared soon.
This event is free and open to the public.
