Celebrating "National Dog Day"

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- August 26 marks National Dog Day founded in 2004 by Colleen Paige, an American animal welfare advocate and pet lifestyle expert.

National Dog Day celebrates all dogs—purebred, mixed breed, working dogs, service dogs, and rescue dogs—and highlights their companionship, loyalty, and contributions our lives. 

ABC57 show members have a few canines of their own that they call their best friends, who they are honoring and celebrating today.
