Candy falling from the sky

ELKHART, Ind. -- It is a candy lover's dream: thousands of pieces of candy falling from the sky.

It became a reality for local children as one area church dropped over 200 pounds of candy from a helicopter into an empty field below.

At a local Elkhart church Easter morning, it was about more than just candy.

Hundreds of community members came together to also learn about the true meaning of Easter, and why a strong sense of family is important.

"Easter is an extravagant demonstration of God's love, and we wanted to find a way to demonstrate that extravagance so we decided to something big," says Brian  Whidden of The Elkhart Calvary Assembly of God.
