Candlelight vigil held for Elkhart County girl hit by pick-up truck

ELKHART CO., Ind. -- There was a candlelight vigil on Monday night for the Elkhart County girl who was hit by a pick-up truck last week on County Road 108.
She died the next day.
The 56-year-old driver who hit her told police he simply did not see her.
The vigil was at 7:45 p.m. at the Woodland Elementary School softball field.
Everyone was welcome to attend.
