Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan opens new space
Photo courtesy: Kinexus Group BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - The Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan celebrated the opening of its new space on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Bridge Academy is located inside of the Michigan Works! Berrien, Cass, Van Buren building in Benton Harbor.
The public-school academy offers resources to students interested in pursuing their education alongside career preparation and job readiness.
Michigan Works!, a subsidiary of Kinexus Group, is a partner of the Bridge Academy.
“Today is proof that partnerships, grit and hard work will get results; which is true for our team as we celebrate the launch of this district, but also for our students who enroll with goals and will spend time in this space to achieve them,” said Allie Knapp, School Leader at Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan. “Education is more than just writing and math, and our whole-child approach to learning will engage, attract, and launch so many bright futures to come. And the future is bright at the Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan.”
