Breanna Jenco named Notre Dame Women's Golf Head Coach

University of Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Wednesday afternoon, Notre Dame Director of Golf John Handrigan announced the addition of Breanna Jenco as the next head women's golf coach.

“I am humbled and honored to be named the next head women’s golf coach of Notre Dame,” Jenco explained.

Jenco's first head coaching position was with her alma mater, Xavier, in 2015.

After building a successful culture and foundation, she turned Xavier into the face of Big East women’s golf and a constant NCAA Regional contender. She has been named Big East Coach of the Year six times (2016, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025).

“The high academic degrees, elite network of alumni, first-class facilities and competitive resources will allow us to attract the best players," Jenco said.

"I am grateful to Xavier and everyone there for allowing me to learn and grow as a coach. I am excited to work hard to continue to build the Fighting Irish into a program that competes for ACC and NCAA titles! Go Irish!"
