Fire at $11B New Carlisle Amazon facility Thursday afternoon

NEW CARLISLE, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department has confirmed a fire has broken out at the Amazon facility at 3110 Edison Rd. Thursday afternoon.

The call came in at 11:25 a.m. and the scene was cleared by 1:25 p.m.

Authorities say there were two people injured but could not provide more details.

The facility is still under construction and not in operation.
