Blue Jays win fifth sectional championship in last six years thanks to 40-8 victory over West Central

NORTH JUDSON, Ind. - In a game with storylines galore, North Judson's Javen Christensen decided he wanted to be the headline in the Blue Jays' 40-8 beatdown of West Central.

Christensen scored three touchdowns and also hauled in an interception on the other side of the ball.

This is the fifth sectional championship for North Judson in the last six years, and the sixth for Blue Jays head coach Brett Lambert since he made the move to North Judson in 2019.

After the game, Lambert said "we did a great job, they did what they had to do, a few things early didn''t go our way, but overall, I thought we had that championship mentality, played hard, played tough, offense was great, proud as heck of these guys, these guys are awesome."

North Judson will face Clinton Prairie in regionals on November 13.
