"Blue Beetle" flies into theaters this weekend

The new DC film "Blue Beetle", starring Xolo Mariduena as Jaime Reyes, aka the Blue Beetle, flies into theaters this weekend. 

This movie also stars Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord, Bruna Marquezine as Jenny Kord, George Lopez as Rudy Reyes, Raoul Max Trujillo as Carapax, and features Becky G as Khaji-Da, the Scarab's voice. 

This DC story sees Jaime Reyes get chosen by an alien scarab, which he's bestowed extraordinary abilities, forever changing his destiny, as he becomes the "Blue Beetle". 

Keep in mind that "Blue Beetle" is rated PG-13 for sequences of action and violence, language, and some suggestive references.
