Bicycle hit by vehicle, FACT investigating

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department and the FACT team are investigating a crash involving a vehicle and bicycle that happened on Thursday.
Officials say the crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Pierce Road west of Beech Road in Wakarusa.
Police say the bicyclist has been airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
There is no word on their condition.
