Beth Holtz, the wife of legendary Notre Dame football Coach Lou Holtz, died Wednesday at the age of 83.
Beth had been battling throat cancer.
Lou and Beth were married for 58 years and have four children.
Their eldest son Skip is the head coach at Louisiana Tech.
