BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – North Elementary School will switch to virtual learning for three days after a teacher tested positive for COVID-19.
The elementary school will move to remote learning from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 in order to properly sanitize the school and conduct contact tracing.
The Berrien County Health Department did not require North to close. The elementary school chose to move online in order to comply with the school district’s Return To Learn Plan.
North Elementary plans to return to in-person learning beginning Monday, Oct. 5.
