Benton Harbor residents and businesses should expect a shift in their trash schedule

BERRIEN COUNTY, Ind. – The city of Benton Harbor announces that there will be a shift in their garbage pick-up beginning July 15. 

Recently, Benton Harbor has transitioned to in-house garbage collection.

The transition has been smooth, except for Leaf and Yard Waste pick-up, Ellis Mitchell, City Manager of Benton Harbor said.

On Thursday, the city announced a new pick-up plan for leaf and yard waste.

Effective July 15, Friday trash collection will be combined with Thursday.

Fridays will be reserved for Leaf and Yard Waste pick-up.
