Benton Harbor Farmers Market returns for 14th year June 19

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Benton Harbor Farmers Market will return for its 14th year June 19.

The Farmers Market, held at Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park, will support local vendors and will promote fresh produce every Wednesday until September 25 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Community access to fresh and affordable fruit and vegetables is one goal that the Farmers Market is striving for.

“Every summer, we look forward to hosting the Benton Harbor Farmers Market and providing community members with an easy and convenient way to get fresh produce, check out locally made handcrafted treasures and participate in various activities,” said Carla Smart-White, market coordinator.

They are searching for vendors, who are welcome to join week by week. There are no vendor fees.

“We are excited to see our community come together each week this summer for this fun and popular event,” she added.

Vendors will be given a 10-foot-by-10-foot space to display their goods. Vendors should plan to bring their equipment needed for their booth.
