CASS COUNTY, Mich. – An arrest was made in Ontwa Township on Tuesday following a search warrant by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Detectives conducted a search warrant on an address in the 69000 block of M-62 in Ontwa Township on suspicion that the selling and use of illegal drugs was taking place, reports said.

Detectives detained four people at the residence.

While searching the residence, detectives found a large amount of methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and other narcotics, according to reports.

A 38-year-old male was arrested on the charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Detectives are submitting charges on other occupants of the residence.

This is an ongoing investigation.
