Alleged drunk driver under arrest after driving into fence

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A 24-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly driving through a fence while under the influence on Friday, June 12.

Olivia Varney was charged with Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more.

Varney was identified as an alleged impaired driver reported to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department around 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 12.

When deputies arrived, Varney's vehicle went off road and into a fence. She was taken to the Plymouth Hospital where she was allegedly found to be over twice the legal limit of alcohol.

Varney was then booked at the Marshall County Jail, and her bond was set at $1,505.
