Alleged drunk driver on train tracks under arrest

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A 33-year-old driver was arrested in the evening Saturday, Mar. 7 after allegedly driving drunk on the railroad track on S.R. 17.

The driver, Jacob White, was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .15% or More and Operating a Motor Vehicle - Endangering.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department says that reports of a possible drunk driver on the railroad track on S.R. 17 south of 15th Road came in around 9:22 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 7.

During the ensuing investigation, officers say they found that the driver, White, exhibited signs of intoxication and transported him to Marshall County Jail where he was charged.

White's bond has been set at $1,500.
