Al Golden named winner of the 2024 Broyles Award

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Al Golden was announced as the winner of the 2024 Broyles Award Thursday night in Little Rock Arkansas.
The winner was selected from a group 5 finalist by a selection committee made of former hall of fame coaches, members of the Football Writers Association of America and broadcasters.
Al Golden is the 29th assistant coach to receive the Broyles Award. The Broyles Awards was created in 1996 to recognize Coach Frank Broyles legacy of selecting and developing great assistant during his hall of fame career as head coach at Arkansas.
Al Golden recently left Notre Dame to become the defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals.
