Groundbreaking for phase two of ’The Cascade’
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The trial court of Berrien County hosted Adoption Day on Monday to celebrate the finalized adoptions of five area families.
One of the families that grew on Monday says the event was very special.
“I just can't say enough good about everybody that's been involved in this process. They've been super, super cool. She calls us LoLo and Dah, and she's been with us since 2015. We first had legal guardianship and then decided to move forward with adoption,” one adoptive mother said.
With this year’s theme of “Giving Thanks for Families”, the event aimed to highlight the importance of the adoptions that take place during Adoption Month in Michigan.
