SOUTH BEND, Ind -- Before the storms rolled through our area on Thursday night, the South Bend Cubs held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of their recent 48-million-dollar renovation of Four Winds Field.
Helping the team and fans celebrate were team owner Andrew Berlin, South Bend Mayor James Mueller, and several other city officials, all of whom told us that the renovation is a great investment in the team - and for the city of South Bend.
