UPDATE: The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office reports Wolcottville's water has been turned back on.

A boil water advisory remains in effect.

ORIGINAL STORY: WOLCOTTVILLE Ind, -- LaGrange County officials say water for the Town of Wolcottville will be shut off until further notice due to a damaged fire hydrant.

A fire hydrant at the corner of Race and Third Streets is being repaired after a car crash on Wednesday.

There is no estimated time for when the hydrant will be repaired.

When water is restored to the town there will be a boil water advisory in effect.
