BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- The Michigan State troopers will be hosting a "basketball cop" program in Berrien Springs.
the MSP basketball cop program will be held at memorial park on west Madison Street in Berrien Spring next Wednesday June 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. and everyone is invited
This event will connect troopers with the community in a friendly non-threatening atmosphere full of games, food, music and dancing.
"We wanna provide a positive influence, a safe space where they feel comfortable and we can again develop the partnerships even at that age, and really all ages we wanna develop that partnership so people will trust us," said Col. James Grady, Michigan State Police Director.
