SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Knicks took game one with a close score of 105-95.
The Spurs came into the first game of the NBA Finals with a 6-0 winning record and held their own. The team traded off leading, until they Knicks threw it into high gear at the end, outperforming the Spurs to beat them in front of their home crowd down in San Antonio, Texas. The stage was set at the outset with Jalen Brunson vs. Victor Wembayana. No one could predict who would steal the spotlight, but after the final buzzer, it's safe to say it was Brunson.
