SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One player hoping to have a big day Saturday is former Notre Dame running back and wide receiver Chris Tyree, who transferred to Virginia following graduation.
Tyree is coming off his best game of the season with last week's win with 45 receiving yards.
When he left Notre Dame, he was the leading receiver with 484 yards, averaging more than 18 yards per catch. He finished his career in South Bend with 17 all-purpose touchdowns.
Saturday's game gives him the opportunity to face off against his old team, and he said he expects to have a lot of feelings.
