84-year-old Culver man dies after Fulton County crash
FULTON COUNTY, Ind.—A Culver man died after a crash in Fulton County on August 15, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were called to the intersection of U.S. 31 and State Road 110 around 5:18 p.m. on August 15 for a crash involving two cars.
According to police, this is the third crash emergency personnel have been called to in the past week at the intersection.
During their investigation, police learned that a Honda Pilot driven by an 83-year-old Culver woman crossed the median and drove into the southbound lane of traffic and crashed into a Jeep Wrangler, police said.
An 84-year-old passenger in the Pilot, identified as Ralph Winters, was airlifted to the hospital where he died from his injuries, the sheriff's office said.
The Pilot’s driver was taken to the hospital and police did release any information on her condition.
Police said the driver of the Wrangler was also taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
