ABC57 Saturday Kickoff host Allison Hayes is sharing messages of hope from those with ties to Michiana who are still finding ways to spread positivity despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rudy Ruettiger, the man whose story inspired the movie "Rudy," has made his mark on the world with his never quit attitude.
He shares his message of hope:
“Hey guys, Rudy Ruettiger, the real Rudy from the movie 'Rudy,' from the University of Notre Dame. I just want to tell you guys to stay strong during this process we’re going through it’s only temporary. When you’re going to come out of this, you’re going to come out strong because you’ve got time now to reevaluate your life, your spiritual side, your financial side and your dream side. So maybe you’ll get a new dream during this time. Let’s go for it. Let’s stay strong together, be nice to each other. Let’s have some positive thoughts and we love you. Rudy Ruettiger.”
