UPDATE: 28-year-old woman dead in overnight shooting on Parry Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- UPDATE: The South Bend Police Department has now confirmed one of the three victims wounded in Thursday morning’s shooting on Parry Street has died.

Police say this is now a homicide investigation.

The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Jasmine Swanson.

Swanson's family has been notified.

This remains an active and investigation by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.

ORIGINAL STORY: South Bend Police are investigating a shooting on Parry Street that sent three females to the hospital.

Officers were called to the 500 block of Parry Street, near Eddy Street and the river, around 12:25 a.m.

They found the first female victim at a home there. They later learned that two more victims took themselves to the hospital for the same shooting.

ABC57 is still working to confirm the ages of the victims, and possible suspect information.
