GOSHEN, Ind. – Two men are facing charges of domestic battery following a dispute Friday evening.

At approximately 5:18 p.m. police responded to a domestic battery call in the 600 block of Colorado Street.

According to Goshen Police, 44-year-old James Quast and 19-year-old Austin Quast were involved in a dispute which led to a physical altercation.

James reported no complaints of pain but officers observed a minor laceration on his elbow.

Austin reported throat pain and police observed visible signs of scratches and redness.

Medical attention was not sought for either subject.

James was arrested for strangulation and domestic battery. Austin was arrested for domestic battery and possession of marijuana.

A report was taken.
