MISHAWKA, Ind. -- A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 10-year-old girl. Mishawka Police responded to the 300 block of Taylor Street on reports of a child shot. Upon arrival, officers located a 10-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound, and she was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

17 year-old jacob Olvera was arrested on several charges, including

•  Possession of a Machine Gun
•  Dangerous Possession of a Firearm
• Criminal Recklessness Felony Level 6
