CASS COUNTY, Mich. –– Michigan high school sports teams have longed for Winter competition for months now. However, Feb. 8 marked the first time this season that Winter sports teams in Michigan could have full contact practices and games.
Basketball and hockey were allowed to begin competition on Monday, whereas cheer and hockey can begin on Friday.
