The Friends of the Elkhart County Parks Raptor Experience
The Friends of Elkhart County Parks Raptor Experience” features hawks and owls from Lake Milton Raptor Center.
Seeing live birds of prey up close is an exciting experience for people of all ages!
Scheduled to appear are a Red-Shouldered Hawk, Spectacled Owl from the tropics and several other hawk and owl species including an eagle.
Visitors will get a chance to learn the natural history of each species as well as hear each bird’s individual story and why they have been rehabbed as education birds.
When: Saturday April 16, 2 pm
Where: Elkhart County Historical Museum, 304 W. Vistula Street, Bristol, IN (just west of the post office on State Road 120)
Price: $3 per adult, $1 per child ages 15 and under
All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Elkhart County Parks. Their mission is to provide an opportunity for members of the community to share their skills, contributions and knowledge to support the park system.
