The last of the lake effect flurries are mostly out of our area, although a rogue snow shower may clip the northern portion of Berrien County in the evening. Lows fall into the bottom of the 20s tonight, but wind speeds around 20 mph tonight will make us feel closer to single digits especially in the early morning hours tomorrow. For any weekend plans tonight and early tomorrow, make sure to bring your winter jacket, a hat, and gloves. Cloud cover lessens overnight, leaving behind partly cloudy skies for most of Sunday and a warmup into the mid to upper 30s. Lows creep back down to around 20 that night with mostly clear skies overhead for a chilly introduction to the work week. Mild temperatures return on Monday as the sunshine becomes more prominent with highs expected to be in the low 40s. We will continue to warm through Wednesday with dry weather expected for most of the week, although a cold front on Thursday will bring rain showers and a cooldown.
