The November General Election is quickly approaching, and Summer’s Spotlight is helping you get prepared before you head to the polls.
On Saturday, the St. Joseph County Clerk’s Office is helping residents understand the voting process by hosting an Elections 101 workshop at the St. Joseph County Public Library’s German Township Branch.
During the class, members of the office will teach attendees how to register to vote, how the voting machines work, what to do to get an absentee ballot and more.
Saturday’s class will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the library, located at 52807 Lynnewood Avenue in South Bend.
The class is free to attend. No registration is required.
If you can’t make it to Saturday’s class, you still have two more chances to learn how the process works:
- October 28 at the Centre Township Branch (1150 E. Kern Road)
- November 18 at the Main Library Branch (305 S. Michigan St.)
