Several arrests made in Nappanee search warrant
NAPPANEE, Ind. – Five individuals were arrested in Nappanee for crimes related to illegal drugs and burglary on Friday and Sunday.
Nappanee Police worked with Elkhart County ESU, ICE Unit, and Goshen ERT to serve a search warrant at the 700 block of Park Drive on Friday.
Upon the inspection in the house, officials arrested Thomas Slavey for the following preliminary charges:
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Maintaining a Common nuisance
- Possession of Look Alike Substance
- Possession of paraphernalia
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of a legend drug
After the arrest of Slavey, officials found William Swango in the residence. He was arrested for the alleged possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance.
On Sunday, April 15th, officials received additional information about the Park Drive residence.
Three individuals were seen removing property from the house, according to Nappanee PD.
Police served another search warrant and found that the stolen property was located in Millwood Acres in Etna Green.
Jason Clevenger was arrested for alleged burglary, theft, and possession of paraphernalia. Tabitha Morningstar and Travis Cassel were also arrested for burglary and theft.
The three individuals are being held pending a probable cause hearing.
