A wet start to the Christmas weekend, the first round of rain ends early Saturday morning. Some drizzle is possible Saturday, but the forecast is mostly dry through Christmas morning. Rain is likely by the afternoon Christmas day and the forecast calls for soaking rain through Tuesday. A slow-moving 'cut-off' low likely overstays its welcome, keeping the area damp and gray through Thursday, DEC 28. The forecast for the end of 2023 is cooler but highs are above freezing and the cloud break next weekend.
Tonight: Rain. Low 40.
Saturday: AM showers. Overcast. High 50.
Christmas Eve Sunday: Mostly cloudy. High 57.
Christmas Day Monday: Rain. High 56.
