Mark Leonard, sentenced for Richmond Hill explosion, has died

Mark Leonard, the man who was the mastermind of the explosion in the Richmond Hill neighborhood in 2012, died on Tuesday.

Leonard was serving two consecutive life terms for two counts of murder, a 50 year term for 7 counts of felony arson, a 20 year term for 27 counts of felony arson and a 20 year term for conspiracy to commit arson.

Leonard was pronounced dead at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis Tuesday around 9:15 a.m.

Leonard had been an inmate at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Sullivan County, Indiana.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
