ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – "March Mannequins", a creative annual showcase of live mannequins in window displays, took place Friday in St. Joseph.
25 total businesses participated, doing their best to stay close to the musician or band theme set up by the organizers, St. Joseph Today.
Each live mannequin who joined in either sat or stood, frozen in place for an hour-and-a-half.
For more than a decade, "March Mannequins" has brought people from throughout Michiana to visit the displays during a time of year when business is typically slowest, leading to an uptick in sales.
Some of the live mannequins on display this year included Prince, Elvis Presley, the most popular outfits of Britney Spears, Spice Girls, and more.
The Market, a venue which hosts several businesses inside, went all-out with a Taylor Swift theme, showing off eight different displays from her different "eras".
Those who attended can vote for their favorite display here.
Voting closes Sunday at midnight.
