ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Firefighters responded to a residential fire in the 19500 block of Greenacre Street just before 7:00 a.m. Saturday.

Police believe an explosion may have been the cause.
One officer and two firefighters were transported to the hospital and are being treated for minor burns.
A 63-year-old male was rescued after reportedly being trapped in the fire. He is being treated for smoke inhalation.
