MISHAWAKA, Ind – After nearly thirty years being in business Bleachers’s of Mishawaka will be shutting its doors.
“Really its sad, it’s one of the first bars I’ve ever went to” longtime Bleacher’s customer Jack Kovach said.
ABC57 News reported on the shooting at bleachers in late September that led to Bleacher’s management implementing new safety measures including shorter hours and a no smoking policy, but management eventually decided to shut its doors.
“It’s kind of like a second home to me” Bleachers customer Jeremy Littleton said.
Bleacher’s customers said the tragedy that happened inside the bar is still difficult to process, and they wish it didn’t impact.
Police continue to search for the alleged shooter Timothy Mayberry and they ask if you have any questions to reach out to the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide unit.
