GRANGER, Ind. – A new indoor golf simulation is opening in Granger next month.
Blackthorn Golf Club is partnering with Topgolf to transform the Blarney Hole at Toscana Park into a swing suite.
The new feature will give users a computerized and immersive experience where they can play simulated golf with friends.
The first of its kind in the area, the simulated game will allow people in Michiana to play golf all year round.
"I've been a life long South Bend Resident. I think it's so exciting to see what's happening in this community. I think this is just another example of improving the quality of life and having the option for people to do fun things," said Tim Firestone, owner of the Blackthorn Golf Club.
There will be six high tech simulators that can be rented by the hour and it is expected to be open next month.
