Police investigating vehicle fire

Elkhart Police are investigating a fire that damaged a 2007 Cadillac.

Around 2:15 a.m. Sunday, police were called to 3 Sunrise Drive about a vehicle fire.

The victim told police she heard a bang outside the residence, so she looked outside, but didn't see anything.

A short time later, she discovered her 2007 Cadillac on fire, police said.

Police said the vehicle sustained heavy fire damage.

The fire is under investigation.
