Teen convicted of murder in death of Jerry Wright

The man accused of shooting and killing Jerry Wright in June 2015 was found guilty of murder, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office.

Wright was found suffering multiple gunshot wounds while in the area of the 2400 block of Frederickson Street around 5:30 p.m. on June 9, 2015.

He died of his wounds.

The investigation revealed Wright and Marqwan Beserra, 19, got into an argument and Beserra pulled a gun and shot Wright.

Wright did not have a gun, according to reports.

Beserra will be sentenced on May 20.
