HARTFORD, Mich. - Danika Young, 38, was arrested by the Pokagon Tribal Police Department Aug. 2 for the embezzlement of $100K or more from Four Winds Hartford Casino, according to the Van Buren County inmate roster.

WOOD-TV reported that Young was an employee of the casino, and $700K went missing on July 30. She was later found in Gary, Ind. but the money is still missing.

Young told investigators that she received a call from a number she did not recognize, telling her to bring the money to Gary.

"She counted out $700K and put it in a bag and walked out of the casino," the officer testified.

Young allegedly met someone in Gary and gave them the money, police said. There are no clear leads.

Young's bail is set at $1,000,000.
