SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend police say a woman was struck and killed Thursday morning on Mayflower Road at Belleville Circle.
Police said they got a call just before 6 a.m. about a woman walking in and out of traffic. Officers responded but were unable to find her in the area.
About 15 minutes later, they got another call about a woman being hit by a Frito Lay delivery truck. They do not know if she was the same person who was spotted earlier.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Jullianne Kinder of South Bend.
Police reopened Mayflower Road around 8:30 a.m.
