CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- US 12 in Cass County has reopened following a crash near Brush Road.
The crash, involving a PT Cruiser and pickup truck, happened around 1:45 p.m.
The occupants of the PT Cruiser were not injured.
The pickup truck struck a telephone pole and the power line blocked Brush Road.
“I was watching TV, and I heard a big bang. So I looked out the door and I saw this car sitting in the middle of the road. So then I drove down by it and there’s a pickup truck sitting in the ditch, it went over the hill, and it’s in bad shape," neighbor Paul Turrell said.
The road was shut down for nearly 3 hours due to the downed power line.
