ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
New Year's Day, January 1, 2024
The last of the lake effect snow has mixed out for now, leaving behind overcast skies that will begin partially clearing later tonight as temps fall into the mid 20s. A slight cooling trend takes hold from now until Thursday as we skip down from the upper 30s tomorrow to just barely above freezing closer towards the end of the week. Our next best chance for snow arrives late Wednesday as the passage of a low pressure system generates winds helpful for overnight lake effect snow that could last into early Thursday morning. Partly cloudy skies follow for the rest of Thursday with clouds increasing on Friday.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 25.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 38.
Wednesday: Overcast, snow developing during evening. High 36.
Thursday: A.M. flurries. High 33F.
