ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, April 6, 2024
Today will feel a lot more seasonal than the past week as highs climb towards the mid 50s later this afternoon. Mostly sunny skies take over as high pressure temporarily builds through tonight, keeping cloud cover from becoming too abundant. Sunday starts off quiet but cloudy with highs continuing to rise into the upper 50s; some areas south of US-30 may even reach 60F. Rain arrives in the afternoon as a frontal system passes through and lasts through the early overnight hours. Our area can expect the rain to stay mostly in the form of showers, although some brief bouts of heavier rain are possible. Gearing up for Monday, the forecast is trending towards favorable conditions for viewing the eclipse. The outgoing low pressure will shift east, bringing much of the cloud cover with it. Highs on Monday are expected to reach 70F for our area as well. The first half of next week likely stays dry, although rain chances return on Wednesday.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 54.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 34.
Sunday: Overcast. PM showers. High 57.
Monday (Total solar eclipse): Partly cloudy. High 70.
