Storms move out tonight, cooler Friday ahead

NOW: Storms move out tonight, cooler Friday ahead

ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather ForecastThursday, March 14, 2024

Early this evening, some more showers and thunderstorms are possible, mainly in spots along and south of US-30. If these storms form, they could be severe with gusty winds and hail along with additional heavy rain. Any showers should wrap up overnight, setting up a cooler but dry Friday. Highs will finish right around 50 degrees. Make sure your shamrocks are secure, because it will be a windy Saint Patrick's Day weekend! Temperatures will make it into the upper 50s on Saturday, but it will be breezy with wind gusts topping 30 mph at times. We will be MUCH cooler to start the week, with highs in the upper 30s for Saint Patrick's Day on Sunday and the middle 30s on Monday. A few snow showers are possible Sunday night into Monday morning but shouldn't cause any issues. Around a half of an inch of snow could accumulate on grassy and colder surfaces, but that's about it. Temperatures slowly warm through the 40s into the low 50s by the end of next week.

Tonight: Showers/storms early, then cloudy overnight. Low 41.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy and a little breezy. High 50.

Saturday: Increasing clouds and breezy. High 59. Wind gusts of 30 mph possible.

Sunday (Saint Patrick's Day): Mostly cloudy, breezy and MUCH cooler. High 39.
