State Street shooting victim identified

ELKHART, Ind. – The man who was shot and killed in the 300 block of State Street early Sunday morning has been identified.
The Elkhart County Prosecutor confirms 18-year-old Lenell Dywane Williams, a recent graduate of Elkhart Central High School, died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Officials say another young man, who has not yet been identified, was also seriously injured after several people in the area heard gunshots.
Investigators are still trying to piece together what unfolded and are asking for anyone who has information to come forward.
