Snow showers take over the forecast today to wrap up 2023. With temperatures still above freezing to start the day, initial precipitation will likely start as a wintry mix for some this morning turning to snow as temperatures drop throughout the morning. With highs in the mid 30's, we'll see wet snow for the most part, but some could see a rain/snow mix at times, especially closer to the lakeshore. Expect snow showers throughout the rest of the day lasting into tonight as we enter the new year. Be careful on the trip to and from NYE plans tonight, we could see some slushy/slick spots. Snow ends tonight and New Years Day should be dry but chilly with highs in the mid 30's once again. Tuesday should bring some sunshine before snow showers return Wednesday evening. Highs stay in the 30's throughout the first week of 2024.
Today: Snow showers. High 35.
Tonight: Snow showers. Low 30.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 36.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 39.
